Purpose

Evil Eye is an open-source encyclopedia of supernatural entities drawn from world folklore. Its focus is on structured, sourced documentation — not sensationalism. Every entity carries a confidence rating, a source list, and structured presence signs that no other resource provides.

How to Contribute

Content is admin-curated for quality. To contribute an entity entry, a correction, or a story from your region, email uditrajmr3@gmail.com. Include your sources. All accepted contributions are credited.

Licensing

Code is released under the MIT License. Content (entity entries, source citations, narrative text) is released under CC-BY-SA 4.0, compatible with Wikipedia and the SCP Foundation. Attribution required.

Credits

Research sources include academic folklore texts, regional oral traditions, and published compendiums. All sources are cited per entity. Cover illustrations generated with Midjourney using a consistent style prompt for visual coherence across the catalog.
