Atlantid

The term appears primarily in early‑to‑mid 20th‑century racial typology as the 'Atlantid' or 'North‑Atlantid'—an obsolete classification that clustered certain Western European phenotypes (sources: Wikipedia; humanphenotypes.net). In later decades the label has been repurposed in different modern contexts: as a speculative pre‑Indo‑European ethnonym in alternate‑history forum material, as a name applied to civic or commercial projects (e.g., Atlantid Eco Camp), as elements of videogame fiction (No Man's Sky entries such as 'New Atlantid Order' and 'Atlantid Drive'), and as part of scientific and technical nomenclature unrelated to human typology (research on atlantid heteropods). The supplied materials do not show continuity from any documented ancient self‑designation to a folkloric supernatural entity.

Anthropological sources describe 'North Atlantid' and 'Paleo Atlantid' as human phenotypes: the North Atlantid is characterized as a Western European mix combining Nordid and Mediterranid features and said to resemble British Iron Age Celts; the Paleo Atlantid is described as an ancient type sporadically found in Northern and Western Europe with suggested resemblance to Cro‑Magnon populations (humanphenotypes.net). Other occurrences of the string 'Atlantid' in project names, games, and biological literature do not provide a non‑human or supernatural physical description. No source describes a supernatural form or body for an entity called 'Atlantid'.

No supernatural powers, agency, or behaviors are attested for an 'Atlantid' in the provided sources. Descriptions relate to human or organizational activities: volunteers cleaning beaches and running events (Atlantid Eco Camp), fictional in‑game organizations and technologies in No Man's Sky (New Atlantid Order, Atlantid Drive), and scientific research on atlantid heteropods. The materials explicitly lack any account of magical abilities or folkloric behaviors.
