According to Marvel Comics sources, Demogoblin is an unnamed demonic essence associated with Limbo, described as a demon who inhabited or was banished to Limbo. In comic continuity he became fused with the human supervillain Jason Macendale (the Hobgoblin) as the result of dark bargains and later separated from Macendale, after which the demonic persona acted independently in the human world.
Depicted as a horned, goblinoid demonic humanoid with sharp teeth, slitted/red eyes and a forked tongue; visual motifs echo the Hobgoblin/Green Goblin aesthetic (pumpkin munitions, glider) but rendered with hellish features such as a hellfire-powered glider and orange/black pumpkin devices. Fan sites provide approximate non-canonical profile statistics (e.g., height/weight estimates) but these are not part of in-story measurements.
In canonical descriptions he possesses superhuman strength, stamina, agility and resistance to injury; can levitate and mentally control a small goblin glider composed of hellfire; projects hellfire from his hands; summons demonic creatures; and manufactures pumpkin bombs—orange pumpkin bombs producing concussive/incendiary effects and black pumpkin bombs producing overwhelming feelings of despair and helplessness. Behaviorally he is a fanatical killer who claims a divine mandate to exterminate sinners (excluding children) and has allied with violent characters (e.g., during the Maximum Carnage arc) before attempting to depart from their company.
