Mavuika

Within the fiction of Genshin Impact, Mavuika began as an ordinary Natlanese who won the seat of the Pyro Archon via a warrior contest. During an incursion of the Abyss roughly five hundred years before the game's present, she drew on the power of the Ruler of Death and sacrificed herself to postpone widespread war for five centuries. She is later resurrected in the in‑game narrative and resumes an active role in Natlan's struggles against the Abyss and threats to the Night Kingdom.

Sources present Mavuika as a female divine ruler with a modernized biker aesthetic: a black biker bodysuit with red sun‑shaped accents, a matching long‑sleeved mini‑jacket, black high‑heeled boots with red and orange decorations and spikes, and an association with a motorcycle nicknamed the "Flamestrider." Promotional and fan materials emphasize these visual elements; voice and characterization materials describe a generally youthful yet dignified vocal presentation that matures over story progression.

As Natlan's Pyro Archon she holds a Gnosis and commands Pyro (fire) powers within the game's cosmology. Narratively she led tribal resistance against the Abyss, used sacrificial power (described as drawing on the Ruler of Death) to delay conflict, attempted named rituals such as the "Ode of Resurrection," and at times offers her Gnosis to others to enable actions (for example, to burn the Irminsul).
