Obayifo

In Ashanti folklore, the Obayifo is believed to be a parasitic entity that inhabits the bodies of humans. Its origins are unclear, but it is thought to be connected to vampiric and witch-like qualities.

Obayifo have 'shifty eyes' and emit a phosphorescent light from their armpits and anus when traveling at night.

Obayifo can inhabit human bodies, controlling their hosts' actions and exhibiting supernatural powers. They are most active at night and travel under cover of darkness.
