Origin
The Tokoloshe is created by a witch who animates a small humanoid figure — sometimes made from a human corpse — using powerful medicines. Once made, it serves the witch's will, causing illness, madness, or death in targets.
Appearance
Small, hairy, and stout — roughly knee height. Has a small head, hollow eyes, and moves on all fours when not seen. In some accounts has genitals on its back.
Abilities
Makes itself invisible to all but children and animals. Causes nightmares, illness, and accidents. Drinks the blood of its victim while they sleep. Can be sent to specific individuals across great distances.
