Larochette Castle (also referred to as the Castle of Larochette) is a medieval fortification dating from the 11th century situated high above the town of Larochette in central Luxembourg. The castle was largely destroyed by fire at the end of the 16th century and exists today as partially restored ruins. The State of Luxembourg acquired the site in 1979 and has undertaken some restoration work since then. Contemporary cultural use of the site is documented: a live concert held during an art exhibition was recorded at the castle on September 11, 2011, demonstrating occasional public events at the ruins. The supplied sources do not document any supernatural traditions, named spirits, hauntings, or paranormal investigations associated with the castle.
