Einherjar

In Norse mythology, the einherjar were those who had died in battle and were brought to Valhalla by valkyries. Their role is closely tied to the events leading up to Ragnarök.

The einherjar engage in daily preparations for the battle at Vígríðr during Ragnarök, consuming food and drink brought to them by valkyries. They also consume Sæhrímnir and mead from Heiðrún.
