Siren Head

Siren Head was devised as a visual concept by Canadian artist Trevor Henderson in 2018 and first circulated online as an artwork. From that image and brief interactive scenes, the creature was expanded into short stories, fan art, mods, indie games, and user-created roleplay servers. Its provenance is explicitly modern and mediated by social media and participatory fandom rather than by oral or historical folklore.

Typically depicted as an extremely tall, lanky cadaver-like humanoid with a head composed of speaker-like sirens or clustered loudspeakers; fan descriptions commonly cite heights around 40 feet in some depictions. The body is thin and human-proportioned but emaciated. Visual representations vary across artists, games, and mods but consistently emphasize the siren/speaker head and gaunt silhouette.

In creator and fan media, Siren Head uses its siren/speaker head to emit sounds—music, scraps of recorded dialogue, shouted words and numbers, and other unsettling audio—which function as lures, signals, or terrifying phenomena in stories and games. Fan and community sources variably attribute sonic attacks or harmful effects to these emissions, but no single canonical mechanics or supernatural system is established across sources; many specific powers are speculative or determined by individual games and fan works. In media contexts it also functions as a stalking threat in remote outdoor settings.
